Michael J Kowal
Michael graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 2001 and began working in finance while finishing his education. In addition to owning Gateway Marketing, he also owns a financial advisory practice where he helps families plan for their financial goals. Michael always wanted to give back in some way and realized that instead of establishing his own nonprofit organization and helping one cause, he could help hundreds of wonderful missions by focusing his marketing agency efforts on working with nonprofits.
Michael lives in Avon, OH with his wife Stacy and their children Julia (7), Anna (4) and James (2) and enjoys coaching his kids sports teams and playing golf (when it’s not snowing!).
Mike has been helping small businesses improve their marketing efforts for over a decade. Having started his career as the Marketing Director of a nationally recognized nonprofit, he’s quite familiar with the problems many nonprofits face in today’s evolving business landscape.
With the experience that can only come from helping literally hundreds of small businesses improve their marketing presence, he has developed a knack for taking the mystery and frustration out of promoting a nonprofit.
In his time away from his computer he enjoy spending time with his family, and coaching Junior/Senior High boys soccer as Spring Cover School District.
